Should I keep vitamins and medicines in a separate container?

I usually just bring my vitamins with me in a little case everywhere i go, for the ones that i take multiples of. But I recently got my wisdom teeth out and it got infected, so I was prescribed penicillin. Would it be okay if I were to keep them in the same container and take them with me? The vitamins are a multivitamin and fish oil.
