I'm 17, 6' 2" and I weigh 160 and I'm trying to gain weight. I've been hitting the gym hard for 6 months but I haven't gained much weight and I still feel like a twig. I can't buy whey protein or other supplements (thats my parents idea), so I'm trying to get my nutrients from my food instead. I yzed my diet and I'm eating the right foods...around 5000 carbs per day. Should I increase my food in protein or meat? What do I need to do?
