Medication that makes you focused/productive?

I was given Vicodin when I got my wisdom teeth out and I noticed that during the recovery period while I was on it, I was very focused and productive. It wouldn't make sense to take Vicodin now as I'm not in need of a painkiller, but is there any medication out there that can give me the same focus and productivity that I had when I was taking it? Is there something in Vicodin besides acetaminophen that would cause this to happen?
