Do you agree that Republicans are bitter and argumentative and Democrats are apathetic and sarcastic? Why?

Republicans are quick to interrupt and and be insulting and Democrats seem to have this "oh well, whatever" kind of attitude. Both are counterproductive and even damaging. Why is this?
