I need help figuring out how I can scale back my wedding as much as possible!?

I would try cutting down on the guest list if possible. other than that you could make the cake yourself. (I'm having around 30 guests and making two round betty crocker cakes from a box.) Cut the liquor all together. Find a cheaper dress or borrow one from someone. Cut the favors. (They get thrown away half the time anyway.) If you're at an outdoor venue you don't need decor and for flowers you could always try gardening yourself, id ont know just a thought. Invitations you could make yourself at a copy shop. Venue: i don't know if you belong to a church but my church let someone use their basement as a venue. It had chairs and tables and everything already. good luck!!
