Seriously wanting a lovebird. What other tips?

I would say you have done your home work and are ready, lizzie has some good advise also, I would only suggest that you consider placement of the bird in your house. as they can be messy as bird seed and bits of toy will litter the floor below. wing clipping is a good idea they can grow back later once the bird has acclimated to it's position in your home, and you have established a re pore with it. my daughter has parakeets she has a travel cage for so the birds can go to the park or even just outside occasionally. excellent for transport, only for your consideration not really required.
