Having a loot in common with boyfriend?

My boyfriend is a really great guy, and i love him dearly. i think one thing that bugs me is that we have so much in common. i know it might not seem as much for other couples, but it seems like he's coping me in some way. i don't want to say that he is but it seems like it. everyday, we found out something new we have in common. it felt nice in the beginning, now honestly, it's getting irritating. also, i feel like he should get his own likes and dislikes, whenever we find things we both like and don't like, it feels like we are twins or something. my family likes him for him, and my mom loves him for me. for every other couples out there, do you think it's cool to have you and your partner to have so much in common? or do you think it's annoying from time to time, or in general? also what should i do, talk to him about it, or just let it slide. cause i don't want to hurt his feelings...
