Elastic has almost gone in my skirt! Innovative ways of keeping it from falling down please?

wearing one of my favourite long skirts today but the elastic is pretty much gone and so it keeps slipping down. hasn't actually fallen off yet but i don't think it'll be long before the elastic goes completely! so, how can i keep it from causing me embarrment today?
